On March 18, 1990, 15-year-old Jeannette Millbrook and her fraternal twin sister, Dannette, disappeared under mysterious circumstances in Augusta, Georgia. The twins had left their home that afternoon to visit their godfather and then made several stops, including a gas station, where they were last seen purchasing snacks. After leaving the gas station, the girls vanished without a trace. The clerk who saw them noted nothing unusual, but the twins never made it back home.
