Sadie Ruth Edney, a 75-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease and cancer, was last seen on May 11, 1992, in Augusta, Georgia. She was residing at the Clanton Personal Care Home and walked out around noon that day, never to be seen again. A witness claimed to have seen Edney walking along Georgia Highway 56 shortly after her disappearance, but this sighting was never confirmed.
