Brenda Lee Alexander Edmondson, a 22-year-old from Athens, Georgia, disappeared on January 12, 1987. Earlier that day, she had been treated in the hospital for an epileptic seizure. After visiting her mother following the hospital visit, Edmondson left in the evening to purchase cigarettes from a nearby convenience store.
