Maricel Tolentino Marcial, a 27-year-old woman, was last seen on November 27, 2002, in Carmel, California. Witnesses reported seeing her jump from a cliff into the Pacific Ocean. Although they briefly observed a body in the water, it was swept away by the ocean currents before it could be recovered. Despite extensive search efforts, Maricel's remains were never found.
