Uriel Cantu, a 23-year-old man, was last seen on November 26, 2006, in Thornton, California. At the time, Uriel lived with his girlfriend of two months. On the day of his disappearance, he informed her that he was traveling to Washington state to collect a paycheck. He only took enough clothes for a couple of days, suggesting he planned to return soon. Uriel, a Mexican citizen, had no known family in the United States, which added complexity to his disappearance.
