In the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the family of Keandre Collins has been waiting for answers for over a decade. On December 29, 2012, the 25-year-old was last seen in the 10000 block of Avenue E. Reports indicate that he was seen getting into a late-model SUV. He has not been heard from since that day. Those who know him have stated that it was highly uncharacteristic of him to leave without telling anyone. At the time of his disappearance, Keandre was wearing a red shirt, black jeans, and a light brown or khaki-colored jacket. Keandre Collins is a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. At the time he went missing, his hair was cut in a low afro style. He stands at 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He has several distinguishing tattoos, including the words "Self Paid" tattooed across the fingers of both his hands. He also has a tattoo of a prescription pill bottle on the back of one hand and the words "Field Town" on one of his wrists. Additionally, he has a mole on the right side of his upper lip. The circumstances surrounding Keandre's disappearance remain unclear, and very few details have been made public over the years. The Baton Rouge Police Department is handling the investigation into his case. While his family and investigators continue to hope for new information that could lead to a breakthrough, his case remains an open and unsolved missing persons investigation. The lack of any significant leads has left his loved ones in a painful state of uncertainty. Foul play has not been ruled out as a possibility in his disappearance.
