In the autumn of 2019, a young mother named Katie Mae Cawthorn disappeared from the small community of Gamaliel, Kentucky. The last time she was reportedly seen was on October 1, 2019. According to reports made to law enforcement on October 10, 2019, Katie had been traveling in Tennessee before returning to her home in Gamaliel.
