Theresa Ann Ortiz, aged 67, went missing on July 1, 2020, from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. On the morning of her disappearance, she left a note for her husband stating that she was going for a walk on the beach. Her vehicle was later found parked at Burkes Beach, but there has been no trace of her since she left home. Investigators discovered a pair of her sandals and an empty pill bottle near the high tide line, raising concerns about her well-being.
