In the summer of 2020, concern grew for the well-being of 42-year-old Raymont Earl Willis II, a resident of Waverly, Ohio, who was also known by his nickname, "Frog". There are conflicting dates regarding his last contact, with some sources stating July 4, 2020, and others indicating July 9, 2020. His girlfriend officially reported him missing to the Pike County Sheriff's Office on July 11, 2020. At the time of his disappearance, Willis was described as a Black male, standing at 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 203 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his back and arms, including the number "513" on one arm. The circumstances surrounding Willis's disappearance are troubling. Shortly before he went missing, on July 2, 2020, law enforcement had executed a search warrant at the Johnson Hill Road residence he shared with his girlfriend. On July 4, between 4 and 5 a.m., Willis reportedly called his daughter, telling her, "The sheriff's raided my house, but I'll be okay." This was the last time his daughter heard from him. His girlfriend later stated that the last she heard from him, he was on his way home, possibly from Cincinnati, a city where he had previously spent a significant amount of time. An unconfirmed report suggests that an eyewitness may have seen Willis running into the woods on Watson Road. Despite checks of places he was known to frequent, no further information on his whereabouts was found. The investigation into Raymont Willis II's disappearance has been fraught with disturbing rumors and a potential link to another missing person case. Willis's daughter, Brittney Hewell, has spoken publicly about the horrific stories she has been told regarding her father's fate, including that he was dismembered and fed to hogs. Investigators have considered a possible connection between Willis's case and that of 24-year-old Koby Roush, who vanished from a nearby county around the same time. A man named Luke Farmer was identified as a person of interest in both disappearances after a witness claimed Farmer confessed to murdering two people, one of whom was Willis. Tragically, hours after being sought for questioning by authorities, Farmer died of a drug overdose. The Pike County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate, and law enforcement has expressed concern for Willis's safety. The case remains unsolved, leaving his family with unanswered questions and a profound sense of loss.
