Herbert Leroy Allen, a 78-year-old man, was last seen around November 23, 2006, in Cleveland, Ohio, shortly after Thanksgiving. His disappearance went unnoticed for several weeks until his van was discovered in Tucumcari, New Mexico, on December 12, 2006. The van was being driven by Terry Chase White, a former tenant of Allen's, whom Allen had recently evicted.
