Aletha Capps, 33, was last seen on December 17, 1955, in Douglas County, Colorado. She was reported to have been with Alva C. Quillin Jr. at a couple of cafes in the area, including the Gold Coin Cafe in Victor, Colorado, where they were refused service due to intoxication. The pair then visited another cafe in Cripple Creek, where Aletha had a glass of milk while Quillin drank several beers. This was the last time she was seen by anyone other than Quillin.
