Brenda Tucker, 28, was last seen in Heflin, Alabama, on June 1, 1988. She was reportedly in the company of her husband or boyfriend, Carl A. Williams, at the time. Before Williams died by suicide in 2002, he allegedly confessed to several people that he had killed Brenda after an argument. Brenda had spent some time in Fayetteville, North Carolina, before meeting Williams, and family members suggested that she may have had a child during that period, although this has not been confirmed.
