Daniel Sampson, age 71, was last seen on October 30, 1994, in Yakima, Washington. He disappeared while on a solo hunting trip near the Wilson Charlie-Dry Creek area, which was one of his favorite spots. Sampson, a well-known tribal leader in the Yakama community, left for the outing but never returned. His truck was later found abandoned in the foothills of Mount Adams, but despite extensive searches, no trace of Sampson was ever found.
