Cassie Sheetz, a 24-year-old mother of three, was last seen on March 12, 2021, while hiking with two male companions at Spruce Knob in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Her two companions were located the following day, but Cassie had vanished. Despite extensive searches by volunteers and authorities, no trace of her was found for months.
