Melissa Trumpy, 37, was last seen on October 26, 2021, after leaving her job in Monticello, Wisconsin, and heading towards her boyfriend's home in Shannon, Illinois. Her truck was found abandoned the next day in Stephenson County, Illinois, about 15 minutes from her boyfriend’s residence. Trumpy had been cooperating with authorities in a case against her ex-boyfriend, Derek Hammer, who was later arrested for bail violations.
