Brent Sievers Missing Person Case

Brent Darel Sievers, age 27, was last seen on October 15, 1971, in Los Angeles, California. Sievers, also known by his birth name Darel Brent Sievers, had been traveling abroad in Europe and Africa prior to his disappearance. The last known contact with his family came from a letter he wrote while in the Cape Verde Islands. In the letter, Sievers mentioned that he was planning to sail to Barbados and then Miami with the boat owner of a 23-foot vessel called "Hobo." However, Sievers was never heard from again. While the boat owner eventually returned to the U.S. and reported dropping Sievers off in Africa, no further details have been uncovered regarding Sievers' fate.

Despite the passage of time, his case remains unresolved, and Sievers is still listed as missing. Investigators continue to seek any information that might shed light on his disappearance.
