In May of 1987, a 37-year-old man named Danny Liggett vanished from New York City, leaving behind a perplexing and troubling case for law enforcement. Liggett, who held a Ph.D. in education and resided in Hoboken, New Jersey, was last seen on May 7th. On that day, a female acquaintance accompanied him to an apartment in Manhattan's East Village.
