Michael Norman Dunn, a 34-year-old landscaper, was last seen on July 16, 1995, in Somerset, California. He left his home early that morning, between 5:30 and 6:00 AM, reportedly to attend appointments with business clients. However, he never returned home, and no one has heard from him since. Days after his disappearance, his truck was located in the parking lot of a mall in Sacramento, about 45 miles from Somerset.
Inside the vehicle, investigators found his keys, wallet, identification, and two checks from clients, but there were no signs of foul play.
Dunn's wife reported him missing shortly after he failed to come home, sparking an investigation by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department. Despite their efforts, there have been very few leads in the case over the years. Dunn is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He had several distinctive tattoos, including a lion’s head and a scorpion on his right arm and the words "Northern California" on his left arm.
Though there has been no substantial progress in solving the case, it remains open with local authorities, and they encourage anyone with information to come forward.
