In November 2019, Bryan Carroll Campbell, then 42 years old, was released from a mental health facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The circumstances leading to his hospitalization are not publicly detailed, but it is known that he had a history of being non-compliant with his medications and had previously reported hearing voices.
