Joseph Peele, an 83-year-old man from Como, North Carolina, went missing on February 8, 2020, after walking away from the Twin Oaks Adult Home where he resided. Peele, who was known to experience confusion but had not been diagnosed with dementia, left the care facility undetected sometime before 7 a.m. that morning.
