John Paul Parton Jr., a 19-year-old from High Ridge, Missouri, was last seen on May 16, 2021, when he left home, telling his parents he was going camping with friends. That night, he called his parents and admitted to having participated in a burglary, stealing around $2,000 worth of valuables. He expressed guilt about the crime and mentioned disputes over how to divide the stolen goods. This phone call was the last communication anyone had with him. Parton was reported missing on May 28, 2021.
