On a cold Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in North Bergen, New Jersey, 17-year-old Leidy Jerez Cumar left her home around 5:00 PM and was never seen or heard from again. At the time of her disappearance, Leidy was described as a Hispanic female with long, straight black hair that extended past her shoulders and brown eyes.
