In the spring of 1987, a then 14-year-old girl named Diana Martinez was living with her aunt, Teresa Lopez, in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her parents and other family members were residing in Hialeah, Florida, at the time. On March 20th of that year, Diana disappeared.
