He was last seen on February 11, 2022, in the town of Bowler, Wisconsin, which is located within the boundaries of the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation where he was living at the time. Concern for his well-being grew after he ceased all contact with friends and family.
The case took a puzzling turn when his vehicle was discovered abandoned on a remote logging road within the neighboring Menominee Reservation.
Justin is described as a Native American male, standing at 5'7" and weighing around 157 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has several distinguishing marks, including a three-inch scar on his abdomen, a scar near his right eye, and a tattoo of his initials, "JD," on his left hand.
