He was last seen at approximately 5:00 p.m. on February 13, 2022, disappearing into the wooded area without his wallet, shoes, or cellular phone.
At the time he vanished, Morris was wearing a white v-neck t-shirt, blue and gray pajama pants, and white socks. Standing at 6'3' and weighing around 180 pounds, he was a noticeable figure, further distinguished by his bald head and a long red beard. He also wore a silver necklace. His family noted that he suffered from multiple medical conditions and was in need of medical attention at the time of his disappearance. The abrupt nature of his departure and his vulnerable state sparked immediate concern and a subsequent search of the area surrounding his home.
In the days and months that followed, the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, along with concerned family and friends, conducted searches of the area where Morris was last seen. Despite their efforts, which included the use of police dogs, no trace of him was found. His girlfriend, Amanda Hamilton, expressed her profound sense of loss, stating, 'I love him. I miss him. I'm lost without him, completely lost without him.' The case drew media attention, with his family pleading for any information that could lead to his whereabouts.
