Michael John Fons, aged 69, was last seen on the morning of March 7, 2022, in Colfax, California. He had a range of serious medical conditions, including terminal illness, and was easily confused. On the evening of the same day, his car was found parked with its flashers on along Foresthill Road, near the China Wall OHV staging area, a heavily forested location.
