Any updates on this case?
Oscar Diaz, a 52-year-old captain of the fishing vessel *Mistress*, went missing on January 1, 2019. The vessel, based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts, sank off the coast of Rhode Island in rough seas. Diaz, along with another crew member, went missing when the trawler went down. Despite extensive searches by the U.S. Coast Guard and nearby vessels, neither Diaz nor the crewman were found. The wreckage of the *Mistress* was later discovered on the seafloor, but the two men remain missing.
