She was reportedly last in the company of her child's father, who claimed to have dropped her off at a Love's Truck Stop in Cordele, Georgia, though this information was later proven false. Her phone last pinged in Dawson, Georgia, near abandoned houses, raising concerns about her safety. Lacambria's family reported her missing when she stopped contacting them, which was highly unusual.
