Mae McMurphy, a 43-year-old woman from Baconton, Georgia, went missing on June 4, 1985, in Albany. On that day, she attended her class at Albany Technical College and later contacted her husband, informing him that she was getting a ride home. However, she never arrived, and no further contact was made. Despite extensive efforts, her whereabouts remain unknown to this day.
