There was no sign of Steven himself, and he had not made contact with anyone to explain his whereabouts. From that moment, he seemingly vanished, leaving his loved ones with only questions and a growing sense of dread. The discovery of his personal belongings without any sign of him immediately sparked fears for his safety and well-being.
As days turned into weeks and then months, the search for Steven Overton continued, though updates on the case were scarce. The Albuquerque Police Department was investigating his disappearance, and the lack of information left the community and his family in a painful state of limbo.
