Linda Lou Taylor, 23, was last seen on March 7, 1979, in Reno, Nevada. Earlier that day, she visited the First National Bank of Nevada, where she met a young man and made plans to have lunch with him. She later visited a shoe store on South Sierra Street to buy shoes before her date. The man she planned to meet, described as a self-employed locksmith with light-colored hair, was preparing for a trip to Aspen, Colorado. After their interaction, Linda was never seen again.
