Everett Eugene Barber, 47, went missing from Eagle Creek, Oregon, on June 10, 1979. On the day of his disappearance, Everett left a note for his sister stating that he was heading to Portland, but no further contact was made after that. His case took a puzzling turn when, nearly a month later on July 5, 1979, his car was discovered abandoned in the main parking garage of the San Francisco International Airport.
