Kathleen Allen, an 18-year-old from Milpitas, California, disappeared on April 15, 1985, after being picked up from her workplace. She was in a relationship with Michael Carroll, a former prison mate of Charles Ng, and her disappearance was connected to Ng and Leonard Lake's horrific spree of kidnappings, torture, and murders.
Kathleen was lured to the remote Wilseyville cabin under the pretense that her boyfriend, Michael, had been injured.
Once there, she was held captive by Lake and Ng, who subjected her to extreme abuse. Lake videotaped her captivity, detailing how they intended to use her as a sex slave and threatening her with death if she did not comply. Tragically, Kathleen was never seen alive again, and her remains were among those suspected to have been buried or destroyed at the property, where investigators later uncovered numerous victims.
The case against Ng and Lake became infamous, with evidence of their gruesome crimes—including videotapes showing the torment of their victims—shocking the public.
