Corlelia "Kornelia" Whitworth, aged 65, was last seen on August 20, 1995, in Interlachen, Florida. She was observed getting into a maroon Chevrolet truck with a Caucasian female. Whitworth, originally from Quebec, had been living in Palatka with her husband at the time of her disappearance. Shortly after she went missing, her husband reported that approximately $175,000 in collectible coins had also vanished, raising concerns of foul play.
