In the late summer of 1997, a distressing event unfolded in the serene setting of Muskrat Lake, near Cobden, Ontario, involving a 33-year-old man named Richard Gregory Rollo. On August 3, 1997, what may have started as a typical day on the water took a sudden and tragic turn. Eyewitness accounts state that Richard jumped from his boat into the lake near an area known as Gull Rock.
