On a clear spring afternoon, 70-year-old Guy Monroe Pyke began a journey from which he would never return. On April 2, 1999, he left his home on Aitchison Road in Onondaga, New York, telling his wife he was driving to Watertown to visit relatives. He was last seen later that day, at about 3:00 p.m., in his dark blue 1989 Chevrolet Blazer in the Evans Mills area, near the 2000 block of State Route 11.
