On a September day in 1966, two-year-old Diane Cecile Mary Prevost was with her family at Grundy Lake Provincial Park in Ontario, a place they frequented for camping trips. The family was by the water; her father, Bernard, was fishing on a dock while her mother, Claire, was with her other siblings looking for frogs along the shore.
