Desmond Peter's grandmother saw him for the last time on March 6, 2007, she reported him missing a few days later. Desmond was not happy with his home life and would often leave the house for days, but he would always return. During the first year of his disappearance there were several unconfirmed sightings of Desmond, however none of them were considered reliable enough to confirm his whereabouts. All tips and information brought to the investigators continues to be followed up on.
