Dawn Ruger, a 44-year-old woman from Mount Vernon, Washington, was last seen on December 29, 2006. She was reported missing after she failed to return home, and despite search efforts, there were no immediate leads regarding her disappearance. In May 2008, her boyfriend, Benjamin Price, confessed to law enforcement that he had killed Ruger and buried her body.
