On October 9, 2023, Robert Sam (Whitey) McKEAN was reported missing in Whistler, British Columbia. Robert was walking his dog Lexi, a 15-year-old white and ginger Cavalier, in Whistler's Alpine neighbourhood. Robert and his dog were last seen on video surveillance footage from a neighboring construction site at the end of Alpine Way, where Robert entered the trail but did not exit. Robert was also suffering from dementia, and he has not been seen or heard from since.
