In the winter of 2001, a 34-year-old man named Shawn James McConkey vanished under perplexing circumstances in Ontario, Canada. His last confirmed sighting was on December 20, 2001, as he left his workplace, Country Hearth, located on Northumberland County Road 2 in Hamilton Township.
