On October 20 2010, OPP were called to the Iroquois Locks, Iroquois ON by the Captain of a Bulk Laker reporting that crew member Gary Charlton had not shown up for his noon shift. Crew members and the OPP conducted searches of the vessel without locating Charlton. He was last seen on the vessel by crew members at 4:10 a.m., October 20, 2010 when the vessel was in Lake Ontario in the Cobourg area.
