Anthony Malinak was 34 years old when he disappeared on September 11, 1976, during a fishing trip in the Madawaska Valley area of Ontario. The male fisherman, who was also known by the nickname "Junior," had gone to the Long Lake area with friends, where the group was staying in a region of lakes, wooded shoreline, and remote recreational properties.
