On November 24, 1982, Clyde "Van" Ditmars was reported missing to the Thunder Bay Police Service by his family. Van sought work in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba in the early 1980s as a welder. Since being reported missing, Van's family has not heard from him and his whereabouts are unknown.
