On September 23, 2018, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Melvin Hillier was last seen at his home in Torbay, Newfoundland & Labrador. Melvin had advised his family that he was going for a drive. Melvin’s blue Ford F-150 pick-up truck was later located abandoned on the MV Legionnaire (one of the ferries that operates between Portugal Cove-St. Phillips and Bell Island, Newfoundland & Labrador).
