Nick Hibbart was a 66-year-old man who disappeared in the Nipigon area of Ontario on June 7, 1988, while spending time in the rugged country surrounding the Gravel River. He was last seen by police officers at his camp in that remote area, where he had been prospecting. Hibbart was described as a thin man with a ruddy complexion and grey hair, standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 141 pounds.
