On a summer day in 1979, a 17-year-old male named Terrence Donald Henderson was with friends at Lac Ste. Anne near Ross Haven, Alberta. The date was June 23rd, and the group was socializing by the lake. At some point, Terrence decided to go out on the water alone in a canoe. This would be the last time he was seen by his companions. When he did not come back after a while, his friends grew concerned and reported him missing.
