Mary Katherine "Katie" Connell, a 30-year-old experienced BASE jumper, went missing on January 18, 2016, after a jump from Bixby Bridge in Big Sur, California. Connell, known for her love of extreme sports, had completed hundreds of jumps before, but tragedy struck during this particular leap.
