In the late autumn of 2024, a sense of unease settled over the family and friends of Karl Olivier Desmeules, a 31-year-old man from Quebec. He was last seen in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal on the evening of November 24th. At the time of his disappearance, Desmeules was described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
