He had a passion for reading, playing darts, and was skilled at fixing computers, having previously worked in IT. His mother fondly recalled his "sixth sense" for knowing when she was making his favorite spaghetti sauce, as he would often show up at her door unannounced. It was later learned that he had developed an interest in the Wim Hof Method, which involves cold therapy, possibly explaining his desire to swim in the cold November waters. The investigation into his disappearance was taken over by the Major Crime Unit, but to date, Paul Davis has not been located. The case remains a painful mystery for his family and the Saint John community, a story of a man who went for a swim and vanished, leaving behind only questions and the love of those who hold him dear.
